Puddle 007...

Two drops tonight in this puddle...I've been searching for an idea for a web comic and wound up doodling these three ladies first. I'm not sure if they will go anywhere but it felt good to get them out...even if they are pretty unfinished. The second is a 2 minute doodle of Naota. FLCL was on :P

I'd really like to start writing again soon...I feel it will help me organize my countless ideas. Also to plan out an actual illustration instead of just winging it. You would think it would be common sense to plan out what you draw but often I don't or can't follow exactly what I want and I end up frustrated instead if that makes sense. Eh...well it's a goal at least.

Puddle 005...

Ugh...keeping up with this is tough. I wanted to go to bed but I wanna commit to this, even if it is a 2 minute doodle. I have given myself a minimum of one drawing at least every other day. Here is this lady, Lady again...I uploaded a few sketches of her way earlier, the drawings are buried somewhere in my older posts. I have her design down pact for the most part but the Gentleman...that man is tough. I have yet to finalize a style I would use or how he would look in modern times. I really need to develop him mentally.

A doodle of my cupids from a shojou idea I had (have?). I owe a great deal to shojou manga, anime, and style. Anywho...these cupids are Yoi and Sasu, from left to right.

Quickie doodle of Lalo...still developing her. I wasn't sure where I was going with this but I needed to dish out SOMETHING at least!

Revisitation...

Going through my old DA account I came across these. I'd really like to revisit the first drawing, characters from Dual Hearts (old PS2 game). I really liked the Meg drawing as well (from Burst Angel). Her left eye used to be lazy so I quickly readjusted it in Photoshop. The last drawing is in reference to the previous drawing I did digitally in reference to Magickcitti.

I do not have the original files for these as they were done around 2005 (2004 even?) and I had numerous hard drive failures and a case of stupid because I didn't back my work up...so I will either redraw them or blow them up and retrace again...for the Dual Hearts though I think I want to blow it up and paint it again.

My quickie for the night. I will be numbering them from now on in the title as "puddle"s. Also peep the layout! It's temporary and I really didn't do anything but it looks way better than the old one.

Watson WIP

I love Sherlock Holmes...mainly for the chemistry Holmes and Watson have. I heart Downey and Law...so here is a WIP going off of promotional material from the film. I want to do another painting but I need to obtain a digital copy so I can get the screencap that I want. This is about 45 minutes into it. I obviously have much more to do, fix, and add but mostly everything is blocked out and I will add more of his body into it eventually.
